I have developed a potential tool to assist in medical visualization. I have applied a statistical procedure called ‘cluster analysis’ to medical imaging data. This allows automatic and exact measurement of the volume of a contiguous mass. This is demonstrated on the website –
‘clusteranalysis-discreteapproach.com’ with simulated data.
I think this tool could be valuable, but I don’t know the best way to proceed. Can anyone offer advice?
Hi Steven, thanks for reaching out! Cluster analysis is used quite frequently in medical image analysis already for segmentation purposes. If you do a Google Scholar search on ‘medical image data cluster analysis’, a lot of work comes up. Is there anything about your method that is unique?
